About Jasper Burns

Most interesting questions aren’t confined to one field.

As a child, I trained as an artist. In college, I studied computer science, economics, and Chinese, and then post-grad I spent nearly a decade as a naval aviator. I’ve also worked in the intelligence community and at the White House. Through all of it, I kept reading philosophy, business, and art.

Each field taught me to see something the others miss. Here, I write about what happens when you put those views side by side.
